Job description
For the Sizewell C Project, we are looking to recruit for the role of Project Manager.
The proposed position is:
Operationally attached to the Sizewell C Head of Buildings Branch (part of the SZC Senior Leadership Team)
Located in the EPR-E office, 800 Aztec West, Bristol, England.
The Sizewell C Nuclear Island (NI) Project Manager is accountable for the SZC (Sizewell C) project progress follow-up for the following activities:
NI Auxiliaries
NI Utilities
Primary and Secondary circuit
Electrical & Diesels
Civils
They are responsible for:
Support to and close collaboration with the Head of Branches and Head of Engineering Programme to implement the replication strategy from HPC to SZC for the Nuclear Island Programme
Plan, monitor and control the RD activities on the NI Programme in conjunction with the following stakeholders:
RD Internal entities: Edvance, DIPNN/Direction Industrielle/TEGG, DIPNN/Direction Technique/SAE.DS
External suppliers / contractors
Employer / clients (NNB/SZC)
Technical disciplines
As a Sizewell C NI Project Manager, you will:
Coordination of the Task Order preparation for NI scope, preparation of Change Requests related to Task Order changes and annual SZC offer preparation
Monitor delivery and ensure that the project List Of Deliverables (LOD) and project schedule are up to date
Management of risks & opportunities associated with NI Programme.
Management of design changes and configuration management
Preparation of and/or contribution to contractual communications such as Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Technical Queries
Oversight of the budget and associated monthly gap analysis in collaboration with the cost managers and Head of Branches / Head of Engineering Programme
Establishment and delivery of the monthly reporting for the NI Programme, which is integrated into the RD reporting
Organization of the progress meetings with NNB and management of interfaces with NNB on the NI Programme scope
Identification and management of interactions between the NI Programme and other engineering sequences.
Interface with internal contract managers and contract engineering leads
Primary point of contact with the Project Control and PMO teams
Profile
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Management role
Technical / engineering experience
Experience in similar large and complex project(s)
Flexible and pragmatic solution focused approach to project management
Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Experience of nuclear engineering project(s)
Experience of electronic document management systems and scheduling software
Relevant project management qualification
Chartered membership of a professional engineering institution
Languages (level)
· English fluent (required)
· French – bonus
