Job description
Framatome is one the main contractors for the construction of Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, overseeing the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of primary circuit components.
As Framatome installation activities are increasing, building a strong on-site organisation is crucial to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
In this context, we are looking for a Site PMO/Performance Leader to enhance project performance through efficient governance and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying top management strategy on Safety, Quality and Delivery for installation activites
- Managing open points
- Enhancing team performance through operational excellence workshops,
- Developing KPI and tools to support operational teams in their day-to-day activities
- Ensuring project governance and supporting decision-making with robust reporting and visual management
- Overseeing documentation follow-up
The Site PMO reports to the Project PMO and OPEX Manager and is based at the HPC site.
The role is on site in person at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater.
Profile
Background in OPEX / project management expected
Skills required:
- Demonstrated capacity to lead workshops and collaborative meetings focused on operational excellence,
- Skilled at engaging diverse teams, driving consensus, and translating objectives into tangible action plans,
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook),
- Capacity to analyse complex information to ease decision-making and drive continuous improvement,
- Experience with PowerBI or other Business Intelligence platforms is a strong plus.
