Job description
Framatome is implementing a modular plant for the assembly of fuels for the operation of nuclear power plants in the United Kingdom. This plant will be built in phases to meet short, medium and long-term objectives.
The investment project is led by Framatome and must be innovative to meet the challenges of the company and the United Kingdom.
As a result, we are recruiting for a Senior PMO.
Your mission is to support a project manager in the management of the project using the tools of the investment project management guide available within the Fuel BU; you will adapt them in the project management plan that you will establish for the execution of the construction project of this plant (SMF) in the UK. You are responsible for setting up the WBS, risk analysis and steering the prerequisites for project milestones.
The project includes the creation of a local structure, and especially the management of interfaces with all stakeholders. The majority of the project activity will take place in the country where the site is located (expatriation) after a first phase in France with travel.
The project is under the responsibility of the Industrial and Performance Department (IPD) of the Fuel BU and benefits from the expertise of its projects unit.
As part of your PMO activities, you report to the IPD Project Manager.
This support for the operational management of the project involves:
Structure project methods and tools during all phases of the project.
- Set up the WBS/OBS/CBS from the start of the project and, as well as write the Project Management Plan.
- Set up and promote, in each phase of the project, the functional analysis and the approach of Value Analysis and Design To Cost, configuration management and interfaces.
- Lead the implementation of risk analyses and mitigation actions.
- Manage with the project manager, the various Project Reviews and Gate Review (GR) until the completion of the project able to deliver assemblies to customers.
- Put under control the requirements monitoring matrices and interface matrix.
- Define routines and animate visual management instances.
- Prepare/ present periodic performance reports, analysis of deviations from standard methods, proposal of corrective or improvement plan, recovery and management of action plans to optimize performance,
- Manage significant project change requests, variance sheets and associated actions.
- Plan/Lead/Coordinate the deliverable production of the project.
- Support change management.
And more specifically for the project planning with the help of a planner you supervise
- Create, update and manage the macro-planning (contractual milestones/margins planning) and detailed planning with the Microsoft Project tool, in line with the WBS.
- Identify and drive the critical/sub-critical path of the project and TRA (Time Risk Analysis).
- Update the schedule and hypothesis note with project stakeholders.
- Track changes on the project’s structuring milestones and trigger alerts
Profile
To be considered, the following qualifications, skills and experience is required:
- Engineering master (or equivalent) with a wealth of experience in project management (PMO, PCM), in an industrial and organizational environment comparable to that described in this offer.
- Client-oriented, proactive, you know how to communicate and are endowed with a team spirit that is declined in a great capacity to embark the teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Agile and with a transversal vision, you have real qualities of mind synthesis, tenacity and an objective/ results orientation. You necessarily enjoy working in team, project mode and are customer service oriented.
- Experience in industrial or construction project planning with the use of the MS Project and/or Primavera tool. Experience under DEEM (Microsoft Project Server) appreciated.
- Scheduling Professional and PMP certification from PMI or other (preferred)
