Job description

The Process Integration Lead is accountable for the integration topics within ITB (Integrated Team Bristol) Process team, achieving objectives and driving performance of the teams with regards to HPC design maturity and configuration management as well as offering support and technical direction for complex and cross-cutting topics.


ITBP team consists of 3 different lots in charge of: NI fluid and HVAC systems design (ITBP/SC), NI Electrical activity (ITBP/EL) and integration, RD commissioning documentation (ITBP/ESS).
This role is part of the ITBP Lead Team and sits functionally within the ITE discipline (Technical Integration, Integration Technical Edvance).

As a Process Integration Lead, you will:
·Reporting to HPC Project and Technical Direction on the yearly design maturity and stability project objectives and escalates topics needing support.
o   Active participation and reporting in HPC Control Tower,
o   Participate in IPCM preparation and strategy via IPCM SOC Steerco and 2IT OPs follow-up meetings,
o   On request activities such as project design stability review preparation, system maturity reviews, monthly maturity follow-up with sequence 4, etc.
· Be the overall ITBP point of contact for configuration topics, in contact with NNB, the other ITBx teams and CNEPE. Also sharing and cascading of good practices regarding integration and configuration management across other ITBx teams.
·       Report operationally to the ITBP Manager and work in close relationship to arbitrate and manage the priorities across configuration topics.
·       Act as ambassador for ITBP to drive design maturity and stability to challenge technical impacts of open points and design changes.
·       Ensure the resolution of various cross-functional technical issues including OP, UKDC and IDT
o   implement efficient organisation within ITBP to drive configuration progress in quality
o   by coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders between building/equipment/contract
·       Act as Level 2 Open Point Coordinator for ITBP scope,
o   lead & manage the OP coordinator network in ITBP,
o   attend co-ordination meetings and responsible for validating the status in OPM for Level 2 OPs,
o   advise the proper governance for the OP,
o   support topic pilot and/or represent ITBP in various technical committees such as NIAM, NNB sprint, etc.
·       Act as T3UKDC project approver for ITBP scope,
o   leads & manages the Mods Coordinator network within ITBP,
o   responsible for project validation step in UKDC for Type 3 DCs,
o   support topic pilot and/or represent ITBP in various technical committees such as CCB preparation.
·       Act as Entity Interface Manager for ITBP scope, with regards to technical interfaces (IDT),
o   participating to ad-hoc meetings and forums as needed
o   supporting teams with escalation of blocking points
·       Within the HPC sequence 4, you will Pilot the topics related to Macro-Activities 4.1 and 4.2

Profile

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills

·       Degree Level or equivalent in a relevant subject;

·       Experience in senior engineering / leadership / project management;

·       Robust knowledge and extensive experience of the EPR design and engineering processes;

·       Good understanding of requirements and expectations of UK laws, regulations, nuclear industry operating experience and best practices;

·       Leadership experience in a highly regulated, technical environment;

·       Ability to set objectives, drive performance of teams and report progress to senior stakeholders;

·       Excellent communication, organisational and people engagement skills;

·       Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders;

·       Ability to set, achieve and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality;
