Now's your chance to join a company that's shaping the energy transition — where your expertise will matter, your growth will be supported, and your work will help power generations to come.

Job description

The Head of Government Affairs and Strategy is responsible for two core areas:

  • Leading and coordinating Framatome’s strategic engagement with UK government bodies, Parliamentarians, industry associations, regulators, EDF and Group companies, and key stakeholders to shape and influence nuclear policy and build brand recognition and reputation

Working closely with the Board and Executive team, the role ensures that both government affairs and business strategy are fully integrated and aligned to advance Framatome’s interests and drive organisational success.

·        Ensure compliance with relevant lobbying and transparency regulations

·        Coordinate the development of the UK country business strategy, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and market conditions.

·        Work closely with the Board and Executive team to define strategic priorities and communicate them effectively across the organisation.

·        Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.

·        Develop and deliver clear, compelling communications of the business strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

·        Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, tracking progress and reporting outcomes.

·        Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic objectives are understood and achieved
