Job description
The Project LDA (stands for “Liste des Documents Applicables” in French) provides a common database of documents that are applicable to the project and therefore its management contributes to the overall delivery of the project.
The cost and schedule impacts of evolutions to this Project LDA are required to be thoroughly assessed and managed through robust change control, enabling the project to be delivered to quality, cost and schedule.
The Project LDA constitutes, together with the list of approved Design Changes, the Reference Configuration (RC) which describes the consistent set of input data for the design.
The Project LDA is to be used by all parties involved on the Project, which supports overall project integrity and facilitates interfaces. It specifies in particular the relevant version of all documents that are applicable to the project when consistent standards are required across suppliers. It includes codes and standards, technical or methodological references.
The LDA process manages Referential Evolutions in the Project List of Applicable Documents. Referential Evolution Sheets (RES) are the documents through which a Referential Evolution is assessed and endorsed.
This process also manages Referential Exemption Requests (RER) through which an exemption to the project LDA is assessed and endorsed.
LDA Lead
The LDA lead will be responsible for the operational aspects necessary to ensure that the LDA process is run effectively. The individual will also be responsible to produce the yearly SZC LDA.
To ensure the appropriate management of the Project LDA, the LDA lead will interface closely with the configuration team, under the supervision of the SZC Configuration Manager.
The main objectives of the role are to:
· Ensure that the processes are fit for use and rightly implemented by all SZC Project stakeholders, both on the EDF/Edvance/EPR-E and the Client’s sides;
· Ensure that requests for evolution to the Project LDA or exemptions to the Project LDA are appropriately managed, and that topics will be mature and ready when the No Change Committee endorsement is sought;
· Support Referential Evolution requesters as per the above objectives;
· Manage the replication of the HPC LDA for SZC and act as the Referential Evolution Requester for this activity;
· Prepare and deliver trainings on the LDA related processes;
· Maintain a live LDA register, recording all the No Change Committee decisions; and
· Issue a formal yearly Project LDA document.
