Job description
In this position, you will take over the self-responsible management of the QHSE department for the Fuel Business Unit (BU) at the Erlangen site. You are a member of the local Fuel Erlangen (F-G) management team, the QHSE management team of Framatome GmbH and a member of the international Management System & Continuous Improvement (MSCI) management team
These are your tasks:
- Conception, maintenance and further development of the integrated management system (IMS)
- Further development and monitoring of the IMS based on ISO 19443, 9001, 14001 and 45001 as well as maintaining valid certifications
- Analysis and support in the implementation of national regulations (e.g., NQA-1, French Regulation, KTA) in the preparation of tenders and order processing for the supply of fuel assemblies and core components
- Creation, updating, review and approval of local (GmbH and Fuel) as well as global (Fuel BU and Framatome CORP) processes, instructions, quality plans and guidelines (Framatome Level 1, 2 and 3 system documentation)
- Coordination, analysis and handling of local quality events (e.g. management of the screening team for Q-events), as well with global manufacturing sites (for semi-finished Zircaloy alloys and products for the nuclear fuel cycle)
- Preparation, coordination and documentation of annual management reviews and audit programs (local, global)
- Conception, planning, preparation and implementation of QM/UM/AS trainings
- Management of management system audits (incl. suppliers)
- Support of customer, government and certification audits
- Qualification and development of external suppliers
- Guidance and support of the operating units for Sales (offers), Project Execution (orders), Development&Design (products) and Service (on-site) of Fuel Erlangen (e.g., implementation of national/international regulations, standard requirements, failure management, customer satisfaction)
- Responsibility for the MAEVA failure management system at Fuel Erlangen
- Regular reporting to local, BU and CORP QHSE management
- Initiation, planning and management of continuous improvement projects in international/national teams

Profile
- Studies (diploma/master) in mechanical engineering, energy, power plant or process technology, quality/ environmental management
- several years of professional experience in QHSE management
- Knowlewdge of management systems (QHSE)
- Experience with supplier management
- Experience as auditor (QHSE)
- Knowledge of ISO 19443, 9001, 14001, 45001, as well as national regulations for nuclear technology (10CFR50/21, NQA-1, KTA, GOST,...), process management and effective application of trainings
- Sound knowledge of standard software, Windows, MS-Office, Documentum, SAP, general knowledge of web applications and databases
- Leadership experience, social competence, decision-oriented, team-oriented communication, negotiation skills, assertiveness, best practice orientation
- Competent and confident appearance, ability to think and improve processes, independent work, professional and representativ dealing with customers, authorities, certifiers, suppliers (domestic/foreign), willingness to undertake occasional business trips (about 20%)
