Job description

In this position, you will be the central point of contact for project managers for all questions and tasks relating to claim management. At the same time, you will advise project managers on all quality management issues and be responsible for processing and handling quality cases (e. g. Root Cause Analyses) from a project management perspective. You will also support the department in the optimization and digitalization of processes.

 

Tasks:

  • Early identification, analysis and evaluation of potential claims in relation to changes, delays or contract deviations
  • Raising project managers’ awareness of potential contract or claim risks and the possibility of creating their own claims
  • Advising project managers on measures to minimize risks and claims
  • Preparing the associated correspondence (e. g. responding to or creating claims) in coordination with the project managers and the legal department
  • Development of claim management processes
  • Careful documentation of all project-related changes, decisions and relevant events
  • Analysis of quality risks and initiation of preventive measures
  • In the event of quality cases: Participation in Root Cause Analysis teams and implementation of corrective measures
  • Analysis, optimization and digitalization of processes and documentation
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for management
  • Collaboration with international teams and departments

Profile

Requirements:

  • Completed studies (Master’s/Diploma) in the field of engineering, business administration or a related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field, ideally in an international environment
  • Very good knowledge of contract and claim management
  • Sound knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)/knowledge of international quality standards and norms (e.g. ISO 9001, ASME)
  • German (at least C1) and English (at least B1), other foreign languages would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to details
  • Willingness to occasional international travels
  • Ability to work in a team and intercultural competence
