Overview

Framatome provides innovative fluid engineering-based solutions supporting clients operating in technically complex and regulated markets. We are currently seeking an a  motivated Instrumentation and Control Technician (I&C) to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install electro mechanical sensors, equipment and control systems in accordance with technical drawing, piping and instrumentation diagram and technical specifications
  • Operate the various test rigs and fixtures to perform validation and verification tests on customers assemblies
  • Perform routine calibration of sensors and measurement equipment in accordance with recognized standards and good practice
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on test rigs, machinery and specialised systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, identifying and replacing faulty parts
  • Collaborate with other team members and stake holders to ensure efficient and right first time delivery of systems
  • Health and Safety is paramount, and all activities will be undertaken with safety as the driving focus

 

 

 

Profile

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and calibration activities
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an I&C environment or calibration laboratory
  • Strong electrical / electronic aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, heights, etc.)
  • Familiarity with working in ISO or similar procedure environment
  • Enthusiastic and committed, willing to work within tight timescales

 

Benefits

For this role we are offering an annual salary of £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience plus benefits, including, but not limited to:

 

  • 25 days annual leave per year, increasing by 1 day every 2 years to a minimum of 30
