Aufgabenbeschreibung
You will be responsible for the technical coordination of the Pool PIE team (non-destructive post irradiation examinations in the spent fuel pool) within the Fuel Materials and Thermal Mechanics department. They report to the group leader Materials.
Your tasks:
Technical management of a team consisting of up to three development engineers
Technical responsibility for the subject area of Pool PIE including the coordination of the related work in the team and with all its interfaces
Planning of Pool PIE measurement campaigns as well as independent creation and review of technical reports
Creation of standards and regular review of their actuality with regard to the process landscape
Responsibility for on-time delivery in excellent quality to ensure customer satisfaction, internal and external
Responsibility for the quality-assured transfer of the generated data to the TAPIR database
Ensure regular exchange with the global PIE coordinator
Active role in handling possible quality events
Budget and resource planning with DEEM for the team, together with the group leader
Application of OPEX (Operational Excellence) tools and promotion of team innovation
Moderation of weekly meetings with "Here & Now" character in the pool PIE team

Anforderungen
Our requirements:
- University degree (Master/Diploma) in materials science or natural sciences
- Several years of professional experience in nuclear technology
- Basic knowledge in the disciplines of materials, neutronics, thermodynamics and construction of fuel elements desirable
- Language skills: German (fluent), English (fluent), French desirable
- Enjoy working with people in a multidisciplinary environment
