Job description

Framatome are the PWR / EPR original equipment manufacturer of 92 nuclear power plants across the globe and we provide services to over 360 nuclear plant worldwide. Our teams have been involved in developing safe, competitive, clean, low-carbon energy by designing nuclear power plants; supply nuclear steam systems; designing and manufacturing balance of plant components and fuel assemblies; integrated automation systems and servicing all types of nuclear reactors including SZB in the UK as part of our long term service arrangements

As the Framatome UK business grows, we are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support the UK CEO.

Role Overview

The role will cover wide range of secretarial, office management and business support elements, requiring discretion, efficiency, and a calm manner. This role may undertake the following activities:

  • Diary management and support to UK CEO and wider leadership team on an as agreed basis
  • Coordinating schedules, meetings and appointments
  • Understanding business priorities and reflecting that in diary management
  • Supporting meetings in terms of action tracking, reporting and consolidating management reports
  • Management of communications to and from the CEO
  • Prioritising management time and ensuring that the wider team are aware of developments and key meetings
  • Looking after inward and outward visits for the UK CEO and team
  • Arranging the hosting of VIP visitors
  • Coordination of communication activities in conjunction with UK Head of Marketing and Communications
  • Arranging travel and booking accommodation
  • Providing general administrative support
  • Preparing memos, letters, invoices, statements and other documents
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues and other EAs
  • Greeting visitors and clients
  • Management and oversight of business projects
  • Involvement with interviewing, hiring and training staff
  • Maintaining and monitoring budgets and expenses
  • Arranging dinners, social events and public appearances
  • Producing timelines and reviews of projects
  • Researching new business ventures or projects

Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and talented individual to join our committed and friendly team. This role will provide the right candidate with a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference at the heart of one of the most high-profile projects being delivered with the civil nuclear energy programmes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to understand the global civil nuclear landscape at pace and the following experience is desirable in support of an application:

Experience

  • Organisation and communication skills are essential to succeeding alongside management of relationships.
  • Experience working within an administrator background or/and previous experience working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant.
  • Experience working with complex diaries, management organisations and travelling booking arrangements
  • Excellent written and oral communication with experience working at C-suite level
  • Confident in liasing with senior executive stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Working knowledge and expert proficiency of Microsoft Applications covering Power Point, Word and Excel
  • French language (advantageous)
