Context of the offer :
Operational Excellence contributes to FRAMATOME goal of becoming a reliable partner for Nuclear Operators by teaching principles and implementing recommended practices for Quality, Continuous Improvement and Planning

Member of the OpEx Corporate team, the Operational Excellence Leader has 4 main objectives :
- On Job Trainer: coaching Operating Unit on Operational Excellence principles and recommended practices
- Workshop Leader: support recovery program activities at OU level
- Define and communicate: OpEx principles, recommended practices, standards and good practices
- Analyze progress of the KPI according to FRAMATOME master plan.

Job description

On Job Trainer :

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible for coaching Head of Operating Unit on OpEx recommended practices according to the FRAMATOME “OpEx Coaching Checklist” procedure.Coach  Each Head on a quarterly basis during one day on site.

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible to train the OpEx network on OpEx recommended practices.

 

Workshop Leader :

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible for facilitating the recovery program for weakest OUs. This consists in

-        Helping OU leaders to define corrective actions

-        Participating in monthly calls to track effectiveness of corrective actions and achieved results.

 

Build and communicate OpEx principles, recommended practices, standards and good practices :

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible to

-        Adapt and/or design OpEx recommended practices, standards, templates and policies

-        Communicate on identified OU OpEx good practices at FRAMATOME level.

-        Train OpEx network during seminars

 

Check Progress :

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible to

-        Ensure KPI reporting on time in full

-        Communicating monthly progress on OpEx KPI by OU.

 

Deliverables :

The Corporate Operational Excellence Leader is responsible for:

-        Ensuring on time in full FRAMATOME reporting of OpEx KPI each month

-        Coaching on quarterly basis, Head of OU on OpEx recommended practices to achieve masterplan objectives.

Profile

The expected competencies for the Corporate Operational Excellence Leader are:

-        Ability to influence OU and BU Leaders

-        Ability and willingness to conduct workshops on complex problems

-        Ability to deliver OpEx training

-        Ability to bound and communicate with OU and BU Managers

-        Expertise in OpEx principles and recommended practices

-        Convincing, persistent, open-minded and good communicator

-        Operational management experience is highly appreciated.

-        Hands-on, willing to spend significant time on the shopfloor
