What you’ll be doing… · Provide technical leadership/ expertise within NS&E, guidance and mentorship to junior staff. · Organise and manage periodic meetings for their scope of responsibility, prepare technical work plans for new starters, ensure follow-up of scope-related activities. · Provide technical review of deliverables produced in their scope of expertise, with the option to approve some of them if a suitably qualified and experienced person (SQEP) was able to undertake the review. · Can be Author of deliverables in exceptional cases. · Participate, for their technical scope, to the Knowledge Management (KM) within the NS&E Discipline and, where necessary, to the overall EPR-E KM Programme of the Discipline. · Interface, in support of the NS&E DM and Group Lead, with the Project Client Teams as and when required for either technical discussions or to present feedback, emergent issues and success. · Provide the NS&E GL with information on any foreseen risks. · Provide support, to the NS&E Group Lead, through the provision of technical information required for the definition of Task Orders (TOs) activities and the establishment of Workforce Plannings (WFPs). · Provides support to the NS&E Group Lead when setting up the planning of activities within the Group: required competencies, budget, milestones, etc… · Provides support the NS&E Group Lead and Discipline Manager to promote safety and quality culture within the Group. · Support the technical delivery of scope-related activities on a day-to-day basis, based on Project requirements and priorities with respect to safety, quality, maturity, cost and schedule. · Provide support to NSE Group Lead when implementing NS&E’s Safety Action Plan generated by the yearly NS&E Discipline Team Project. · Liaise with relevant Edvance/SNE Teams and engage on technical topics of common interest. · Participate to Edvance-wide discipline meetings relating to their specific scope. Scope-Specific Activities (Hazards Studies Scope): In addition to the above generic activities, you are expected to perform, for the Hazards scope, the following activities: · Ensure all hazards have been adequately mitigated against in the design of the NI buildings based on the methodologies and referential approved by RD and the Clients (HPC & SZC Projects). This includes: - Assessing the risks of the design replication of HPC hazards studies for SZC. - Updating suitably identified HPC hazards methodologies/ studies for adoption by SZC. - Providing general hazards guidance and advice on (post-delivery) issues to each of the EPR-E Building Teams. - Putting in place mitigation measures to take into account the Internal Flooding hazard requirements in the layout of the buildings in the scope of EPR-E and within the system design etc

Your background may include some of the following (not exhaustive): Engineer qualified to degree level or equivalent preferably specialising in safety studies. Ability to technically lead and support a cohort of Engineers. Knowledge of safety requirement implementation and other safety studies (preferably from a highly regulated industry). Knowledge of NNB GenCo’s Nuclear Safety Design Assessment Principles (NSDAPs) and experience of their application. Experience in the area of UK EPR systems, electrical and layout engineering. Knowledge and the ability to navigate PDMS and Navisworks software. You are expected to be conscientious, enthusiastic about the subject with good interpersonal and communication skills. The NS&E GL is accountable and responsible for: • Working with the NS&E DM to ensure that safety is our top priority; • Ensuring the quality of activities carried out across the four areas of the NS&E Discipline (including adherence to engineering manual, standards, processes, tools and methods); • Internal interfaces with other parts of the Projects (HPC & SZC) Organisations in EPR-E, and external interfaces with multiple entities within the Clients (HPC & SZC) Organisations. • Contributing to the Work Force Planning (WFP) and elaboration of Projects Task Orders (TOs), including definition of scope and associated budget, list of deliverables etc, for the NS&E scope of work; • Ensuring that the staffing within the NS&E Discipline can meet the delivery requirements and is consistent with WFP and the budget constraints of HPC and SZC Projects; • Management of the overall yearly budget (from HPC and SZC Projects) assigned to the delivery of activities by the NS&E Discipline. • The delivery by the NS&E Discipline in accordance with planning and quality, including definition of priorities when/if needed; • Informing the Projects Safety Managers/ Representatives of any risk, alert and technical issues on the NS&E scope of work; • Providing the NS&E DM with input on potential risks and issues related to quality, workload, schedule, resources, competencies, budgets, etc.; • Health and safety, work planning, succession management, quality assurance, skill development on the job, and budgets. The NS&E GL will also be: • Managing the relationship with all internal stakeholders (HPC and SZC Projects Counterparts, JDO-DT, Disciplines in Edvance and CNEPE, HR Correspondents for mother companies) and external stakeholders (Alliance Partners, NNB/SZC Co, Other Contractors) pertaining to the NS&E scope of activities; • Managing the resources within NS&E as well as the recruitment of both mother company staff and partners by working with the NS&E DM to establish recruitment requirements, ensure timely review of CVs and selection decisions; • Managing and developing technical competencies of NS&E staff: monitoring, follow up, planning for the future and making sure that the right training and tools are provided to all. Particular consideration should be given to the transfer of competencies between France and UK for HPC and SZC Projects; • Providing pastoral care to all staff within the NS&E, including health and safety, wellbeing and creating a working environment consistent and aligned with the nuclear safety culture principles; • Completing, for mother company staff, the required performance reviews and evaluations, professional development and objectives setting.

Vous préparez une formation de niveau BAC +3 ou BAC+5 dans le domaine HSE et vous recherchez une alternance de deux ans.
